Rayan Yaakoubi was born on 29 April 2009.
CLUB CAREER
Rayan Yaakoubi is a youth academy graduate of KAA Gent Academy.
To this day, he represents the youth teams of KAA Gent, gaining experience both on the domestic stage and in international competitions, facing top academies across Europe.

At the turn of May and June 2026, he represented Morocco U-17 National Team in the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations. He became known for saving penalty kicks in the penalty shootout against Senegal in the semi-final match. Ultimately, the Morocco U-17 National Team finished in 4th place in the tournament.
INTERNATIONAL CAREER
Rayan Yaakoubi has participated in youth national team camps for Belgium U-17 as well as Morocco U-15 and U-16.
