Maciej Wanecki began his football journey at the age of five at Pogoń Mogilno.

On 1 July 2024, he joined the Lech Poznań Academy. As a player of Lech Poznań, he has participated in numerous international tournaments, where he has been repeatedly selected as the best goalkeeper of the competition.
